Purrptide digest

GHRP-2 does what GHRP-6 does, with the volume turned down on the hunger response. Same family, slightly more polite houseguest. It's actually approved as a diagnostic tool in Japan to test for GH deficiency, which gives it a regulatory legitimacy most peptides on this list don't have. Still carries the cortisol/prolactin tradeoff common to older-generation secretagogues, but the milder appetite spike makes it more livable day-to-day.

What this means for you

๐Ÿƒ
If you care about weight/health

A middle-ground option if GHRP-6's hunger spike was too much but you still want a strong GH pulse.

๐Ÿฉบ
If you're a clinician

Approved in Japan as a diagnostic agent for GH deficiency testing โ€” actual regulatory use case, not just off-label speculation.

๐Ÿ”ฌ
If you're a researcher

The reduced ghrelin-receptor appetite signaling relative to GHRP-6, while maintaining GH potency, is worth dissecting structurally.

๐Ÿ’ธ
If you follow biotech

Diagnostic-use approval in one country is a foothold other markets haven't replicated yet.
