Purrptide digest

Hexarelin produces the strongest GH pulse of any secretagogue peptide โ€” louder than Ipamorelin, louder than GHRP-2, loud enough that researchers started checking other organs for side effects. What they found instead was a direct cardioprotective effect, independent of growth hormone entirely. The heart has its own receptors for this thing. The tradeoff: it also raises cortisol and prolactin more than the 'cleaner' secretagogues, which is the price of that bigger pulse.

What this means for you

๐Ÿƒ
If you care about weight/health

Maximum GH pulse comes with maximum side effects too โ€” cortisol and prolactin go up along with it. Not the beginner-friendly option.

๐Ÿฉบ
If you're a clinician

The independent cardioprotective mechanism via non-GH receptors is the genuinely novel finding here, separate from the secretagogue effect.

๐Ÿ”ฌ
If you're a researcher

Cardiac-specific ghrelin receptor binding that operates independently of GH release deserves its own dedicated research track.

๐Ÿ’ธ
If you follow biotech

A cardioprotective peptide that isn't primarily a GH drug is a different market entirely. Underexploited angle.
